Ms. Krug and Ms. Gattinger took the MYSLC students to William Booth senior care home to volunteer. Students helped seniors play a game and then they enjoyed cookies and juice together while learning about each other. This was an incredible opportunity for the MYSLC students to build their self-confidence as leaders and support the wider community.

Congratulations Hamza E., who placed 6th in the Canada Cup West Senior Men’s Sabre Fencing. This is a great achievement considering Hamza is younger than most who compete at the open age level. Congratulations Janna E., who is the Canada Cup West Fencing Champion and Gold Medalist in Under 17, and also the Bronze Medalist in Under 20. We are very proud of both of you!
