The grade 5A class has enjoyed a very busy September! Students have participated in the Terry Fox Run, Orange Shirt Day, a classroom visit from an owl as they are reading Owls in the Family, and a lot of reading and writing.

Playground Clean Up

Our Grade 6 classes took time during the day on Wednesday, September 27, to help clean up the schoolyard. Mr. Sukovieff was very happy with their efforts!  Thank you to the grade six students and teachers for making our school yard a cleaner place to play.

High School Guest Speaker

Grade 9 – 12 students were very fortunate to have Merelda Fiddler, an accomplished film maker, former producer at CBC Radio Regina, and current professor at First Nations University, teaching courses on reconciliation. Ms. Fiddler spoke about Truth and Reconciliation so that students could gain a better understanding about Residential Schools and the significance of Orange Shirt Day.
