April 10 Assembly

Pre-Kindergarten through grade 8 students participated in their April assembly this morning. We began the assembly with the morning dua’a, O’Canada, and Mrs. Nistor recognized that Regina Huda School is on Treaty 4 land.

We recognized the Huda Heroes from the month of March. Congratulations Nomaan Z., Zoya A., Eiman N., Amina A., Hamza R., Mohammad H., Maryam A., Subhan K., Shawaiz S., Adiba T., Khadija J., and Maimoona A.

Teachers Douha and Asmaa presented 3 students with prizes for doing wudu perfectly in March. Congratulations Sumayya C. from grade 4A, Ehab A. from grade 3A, and Iman S. from grade 5B!

Teacher Douha’s grade 3 Arabic class performed a play for us, giving the dialogue in both Arabic and English. It was very funny and we really enjoyed it!

Mrs. Nistor recognized our Readers of the Month for the month of March. Congratulations to the students who have been reading often!

We finished our assembly with the draw for the $10 Caught Being Good prize. Congratulations Amna from grade 4B for getting caught being good this month!
