Grade 9 – 12 students were very fortunate to have Merelda Fiddler, an accomplished film maker, former producer at CBC Radio Regina, and current professor at First Nations University, teaching courses on reconciliation. Ms. Fiddler spoke about Truth and Reconciliation so that students could gain a better understanding about Residential Schools and the significance of Orange Shirt Day.
We recognized high school students who performed very well in their courses during semester 2 last year. Congratulations to students who won the Imtiaz Award which recognizes students who finish with an average of 85% or higher in Islamic Studies and Qur’an class with at least 80% in each class.
