The grade 8 graduation was held in the University of Regina Theater, on a beautiful stage. It was a wonderful event to celebrate the students’ hard work this year. Thank you to Mrs. Gunnluagson, Mr. McTaggart, Mrs. Tauqeer, Teacher Douha, Teacher Hanan, and Teacher Zakariya for your work to recognize the students at the event.

Grade 1 – 7 students and teachers prepared a great event for families on Friday, June 1. Students performed songs, plays, and poems and created beautiful artwork to decorate the gymnasium.

We had our second-last elementary assembly of the year on Monday afternoon. Ms. Krug, Ms. Mah, and Mrs. Hibbert thanked members of this year’s Middle Years Student Leadership Council and announced the 13 students who will be on the MYSLC for the 2018-19 school year. Congratulations to Muskan Z., who was invited to participate in the Leaders Creating Future Leaders project with the Regina Police Service. Muskan was chosen to introduce a guest speaker at their luncheon. We are very proud of Muskan for the leadership she shows at Regina Huda School and in the greater Regina community.
