On February 3, Barry Putz presented “Taking Action for Prairie: Species at Home on the Prairie” to the grade 5/6 class‎. Students learned about structural and behavioral adaptations of native plants and animals along with beneficial practices to conserve the diversity of native prairie life.

Staff Appreciation Week

Mrs. Hall and a committee of grade 10 girls worked really hard to show Regina Huda School staff how appreciated they are. The committee treated teachers to flowers, coffee, sweet treats, and infusion water bottles. Thank you to Mrs. Hall and the students for organizing a very special Staff Appreciation Week!

The morning and afternoon kindergarten classes built an igloo in their classroom. The students enjoyed learning about how real igloos are made, different ways that animals adapt for winter, and ice fishing.
