Grade 12 visiting University of Regina
On Monday, February 9, our ten grade 12 students visited the University of Regina. They toured the university, attended a scholarship workshop, ate lunch with several professors, and attended their first university class.
Five students attended an English 110 class while the rest attended a Music History 203 class. All the students found the classes interesting and they are very excited to be at the university next fall.
The Psychology 20 students at Regina Huda School thoroughly enjoyed devising and executing action research projects throughout their Pre-K to Grade 12 school. Isa Haque and Ammar Alvi tested whether or not a societal expectation would influence the effort that grade ten students would put forth in a physical challenge. Many students in the primary and middle years levels were also participants in the various experiments that were conducted the week of October 13th.
