Kind Letter After Huda Field Trip
02 Jun 2016
After the grade 2, 2/3 and 3 field trip to the Western Development Museum, one of the volunteers contacted us with a very kind letter to compliment our students.
On May 25, 2016 I was one of the volunteers at the Moose Jaw WDM Learning Days.
I was in the Wireless Room, explaining old radios and test equipment to WWI, WWII to present, along with 3 other volunteers.
I have been doing this every year for about the last 10 years, and yesterday I had the privilege to pass some knowledge off to some of your students. What can I say: Your students were actually listening, and asking questions. It was awesome. I have never been able to get responses from other children like I did yesterday with your students.
Thank you for bringing these young people to Moose Jaw.
At the volunteer lunch, I was speaking to the other volunteers, and they all said the same thing.
“Beautiful children with such inquisitive minds.”
Once again, thank you to the staff, and students, you are all very special.
I was a school Secretary for 20 years, so I do know and understand exceptional children.
Sincerely
Mrs. V. Lemko (the children me remember me as Mrs. L)
