We started our assembly by congratulating April’s Huda Heroes, students who have demonstrated courtesy and gratitude. Congratulations Aroba Khan, Liban Dahir, Yousuf Ahmed, Amr Eisa, Amna Mian, Zahra Zeb, Ibrahim Salah, Alvi Najiyat, Muhib Wasi, and Miss Jost’s Grade 5 Class.

We celebrated students who participated in the SpeedStacking tournament at Sheldon Williams Collegiate.

Ameer Ibrahim finished 1^st place in the Intermediate competition, and Aamina Tauqeer won 2^nd place and Abiha Mirza won 1^st in the Senior competition. Congratulations to all competitors!

Teachers Lujain and Manar drew prizes for the wudu award to congratulate students who have been making wudu properly this month.

Ammara announced the winners of the SLC Earth Week “Lights Off” competition where classes turned off their classroom lights to conserve energy. Congratulations to the top 3 classrooms:

Grade 6/7  (14 hours and 45 minutes)

Grade 3/4 (19 hours)

Grade 5/6 (23 hours and 30 minutes)

Mrs. Nistor finished the assembly by drawing for the $10 Caught Being Good award. Congratulations Basmah!
