October 20 & 21 Debate Tournaments

Regina Huda School had ten teams competing in the Beginner and Intermediate Debates on Friday, October 20 at Elsie Mironuck School. In the Beginner category, Regina Huda School had six teams competing of nine teams total. Aiman and Laraib finished in third place and Maham and Salma placed second. Maham was named third place speaker and Ryan was named second place speaker.

In the Intermediate category, Regina Huda School had four teams competing out of ten total, and all three teams that placed were from Regina Huda School. Ali and Ameer placed third, Wafiq and Abdur-Raafay placed second, and Tina and Muhammad placed first. Tina was named second place speaker, and Muhammad was named best speaker.

In the Open Debates in Saskatoon on Saturday, Regina Huda School also did very well, with our two competing teams placing first and second. Mantaqua and Aroba placed second, and Zona  and Ammara placed first. Ammara was named third speaker, Mantaqua was second, and Zona first.
